聚焦江西城市面临的极端天气、内涝风险、消防安全、基础设施老化与公共空间问题，研究城市安全韧性提升与空间治理创新。围绕城市风险空间识别、韧性社区建设、应急避难空间布局及城市体检，探索适合江西城市特点的韧性评估、空间治理和风险防控方法。

This area investigates ways to strengthen urban safety and resilience and advance spatial governance, addressing extreme weather, urban flooding, fire safety, ageing infrastructure and public-space issues in Jiangxi. Research covers spatial identification of urban risks, resilient communities, emergency shelter planning and urban assessments, developing approaches to resilience evaluation, spatial governance and risk prevention tailored to cities in Jiangxi.

聚焦存量住区空间老化、公共服务不足、适老适儿需求增长与社区活力下降等问题，研究老旧小区、单位大院、开放式住区等典型居住空间的更新路径。结合完整社区建设、社区公共空间重构、AI辅助居民需求识别与更新方案推演，探索从设施修补走向面向未来生活方式的社区整体更新。

This area explores renewal strategies for older neighbourhoods, work-unit compounds and open residential areas, addressing ageing spaces, inadequate public services, growing needs of older adults and children, and declining community vitality. It brings together complete community development, public-space reconfiguration and AI-assisted analysis of residents’ needs and renewal scenarios, moving beyond facility repairs towards holistic community renewal for future ways of living.

立足江西历史文化与红色文化资源，研究城市更新背景下历史街区、传统建筑、工业遗存、红色遗址及周边环境的保护、活化与再利用。围绕南昌八一起义相关遗址、赣南苏区红色遗存、井冈山革命旧址及抚州历史文化资源等对象，探索数字展示与活化利用方法，推动文化遗产保护与城市发展协同。

Drawing on Jiangxi’s historical and revolutionary heritage, this area studies the conservation, revitalisation and reuse of historic districts, traditional buildings, industrial heritage, revolutionary sites and their surroundings within urban renewal. It explores digital interpretation and adaptive reuse through sites associated with the Nanchang August 1 Uprising, revolutionary heritage in the southern Jiangxi Soviet areas, Jinggangshan revolutionary sites and Fuzhou’s historical and cultural resources, linking heritage conservation with urban development.
